Basketball and Trumpets

We have been so busy this winter with basketball. Jason is playing on his Junior High JV team and has either a practice or game every day of the week. Trenton is playing Jr. Jazz as well and his games are on Saturdays. All the pics I have of Jason in action are blurry and terrible but this is a great one of he and Jaxon. Jaxon and Jason were friends when we lived in Provo. They were 3 or 4 when we moved. They played against each other this year and is was so fun to catch up with them. This is Kelsie's Winter concert with the school. She is really enjoying playing the trumpet but is hoping that next year they will have strings so she can learn the viola. The concert was very nice (really) especially for this being the first year of them having band. Kelsie is in the center of the photo with the white skirt with black flowers.
Basketball is winding down and now all the kids can talk about is summer, wake boarding and Lake Powell...can't wait! Spring is just around the corner we can almost feel it...almost.

Basketball + music = awesome! But why would anyone want to quit the trumpet? Trumpet rocks almost as much as Flugelhorn!

Your kids are great and what a handsome dude Jason is turning out to be. See you soon!
