Bread that will change your life!

Yes, this is a bold statement but it is also a very true statement. This bread is crusty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Just like expensive artisan bread from a baker. Unbelievable!!!!

Take two minutes to mix it up tonight you will be so happy you did.

PS you don't need a cast iron pot. Any pot with a lid that will go in the oven will work. Even a crock pot bowl with the lid.

I couldn't get the pics in the order I wanted but I am sure you can figure it out. Ü

Bingham Homecoming

The night we got back from Lake Powell this mysterious balloon was floating in the middle of our cul-de-sac..  Upon closer inspection we found that it was tethered to a our front porch with this sign...

 Hailie all ready to go

She's been spending a lot of time with him lately...

John made a little 'gift' for Jantzen.

This dog tag with Hailie on one side and him on the other.  He presented it to him and gave him a little pep talk when he came to pick her up.  We all had some great laughs.

Here they are on the day date in Park City

Lake Powell has it's up's and down's

Sadly this trip my mom (just 2 months after hip replacement) fell getting into one of the kayaks on the second day and broke her Femur.  I must point out I have heard that is one of the most painful things you can do.  So here's to my mom the Rock Star who wanted to wait it out and see if it would be better the next day.  {Of course we didn't realize how serious it was a first.} We finally decided that she would need more medical attention than our awesome cardboard and towel splint.  We drove her in our ski boat to the marina where we had an ambulance on stand by.  The paramedics quickly decided that they would indeed need to call for life flight witch they already had on stand-by.  They would have to take her to Flagstaff where they had a trauma center.  Dad would follow in his truck {a two hour drive} and my brother Ron was great and drove from him home in Payson to the hospital and was able to be there around the same time as mom.  It was really hard to see her fly off and have a big sense of helplessness. It was a long night driving back to Face Canyon in the black of night but even harder just waiting to hear any news...

It was really sad the next day as Angie packed up their room.  Then we would see dad's V8 juice still in the fridge and get sad again. We love our Mom and Dad dearly and it was a hard week.  They were very much missed.

P.S. If you ever have the need Life Flight will pick you up where ever you are if they can land.  They told us they would have come right to the beach where we were camping.  Good to know although I hope to never need to use that again!

The happiest place on earth...for us.

Most of these pics will speak for themselves.  There is so much fun to be had at our favorite destination...
