So I am finally getting around to our Halloween pics. We had a great night haunting....maybe because we have the best neighbors ever. The kids all had a blast and came home with way too much candy. Of course we have candy taxation in this house so I do get some chocolate out of the deal as well...so it's not all bad. Just dealing with 6 kids hopped up on sugar for a week or so. Well I may as well be hopped up too. By the way I have made a new discovery. Last year I found that carving pumpkins is much more fun if you use a drill and jig saw. No more knives for me. So now my kids design and in a matter of mere moment I have it all cut out and ready to go. Also if you coat the cut parts with bag balm or Vaseline they will stay fresh a few days, so you can enjoy your masterpieces longer!

Wheeler Historic Farm

We have had an AMAZING fall this year! Aside from one snowy weekend we have had great weather. My younger kids are all off track (out of school) so we have been doing a lot of stuff to stay busy and enjoy the weather as much as possible! My Buddy Leanne took us to Wheeler farm and we had a pic-nic and fed the geese and walked around and look at all the farm animals. The kids loved feeding the goats all the leaves they could find and anything else for that matter! I think our luck with the weather is just about up so now the kids are looking forward to snow and sledding!

Who knew that feeding birds was such a dangerous job!

Tree Dwellers

We went on a great picnic the other day to Wheeler Historic Farm. The kids had a blast Climbing the trees and playing in the leaves that were RAINING down on us!

Jason and Trent and their buddies.
I couldn't believe how high Kelsie went...that's her way up there
