Yay for great family!

A very big THANK YOU to Ashley and Kevin for saving us yesturday and bringing us dinner. My family was so grateful to have 'real dinner' last night instead of mac-n-cheese or 2 minute noodles. ThANk YoU, tHaNk yOu, ThAnK yOu!

As for me I am feeling better after yet another trip to the doctor today. They gave me a stronger breathing treatment and another lovely shot in the other buttock! Let the healing begin......Please!

Feelin' GrOoVeY.......But on a happy note the flu is gone I just can't breath :)

I Love to see the Temple....

I always load my pics in the opposite order that I want them....but at least they are here. So Saturday we were able to take our little family through our new temple for the open house. We were pleasantly surprised when dad called and was going to be able to come with us along with Kevin. ( I just happened to have a couple extra tickets.) This is the corner stone that they will seal up at the dedication. They are doing something new with this temple and allowing everyone with in the temple district the opportunity to write their feeling and testimony to be in a book and placed in the corner stone. What a great thing to have a little piece of my family always in the temple. We truly feel this is 'our' temple.

This is the view from the temple it is amazing to see the whole valley from here. You can also see the Jordan River and Draper Temples as well. You can see Salt Lake as well but not the Temple from our direction. WOW 4 temples in one little valley pretty exciting.

I love the windows in this temple they are etched so they look like there are sheers over them and there are beautiful beveled stars throughout them as well. What a great day!

My little helper and other Conover Caos

Jeffy and I decided to make some of Grandma Dille's famous banana sponge cookies...Yummy. Jeff is a great helper and what would cookies be without licking the beater when finished? (Notice his batter stalactite on his nose and chin....he's got skills. We have had a crazy busy few weeks (or Months) with school getting out and our temple getting ready to open. Our Youth have been involved in the oquirrh Mountain temple celebration witch was held at the conference center down town. What an awesome experience for them and us. It was like a huge dance festival with our whole temple district. Our stake did and Asian themed dance. Hailie was a fan dancer and Jason was in the choir. Our boys did Asian drums...well the whole thing was amazing. We are supposed to get a dvd of the event. We are looking forward to that. We are also going this Saturday as a family to the temple open house.

Our new neighbors have this little dirt bike for their girls....well the first day they pulled it out our kids went crazy and had a blast. Here is Hailie and Jeffy on their bikes.
Kelsie the little speed demon couldn't get enough and ended up crashing and getting scraped up pretty good complete with road-rash on her chin arm and shoulder and a nice gash in her shin.....yet she was ready to go again the next day. Yep, she must have Sorensen blood runnin' in those veins.

Here is Kelsie in her end of the year recorder concert....it was actually quite good.
