Trentons first piano recital

Big T has been asking to take piano for a while and we were finally able to get him started. This is him with his amazing teacher Marci. He only had 3 lessons before this recital but he was so excited to do it and he did amazing of course. Grandma Carol had worked with him a little here and there so he played I am a child of God that he already new a little. He was perfect! So proud of him.

Donut Falls

We had a great day today with the family. We went hiking in Big Cottonwood Canyon to Donut Falls. I had heard a lot about this hike from local friends and it was so much fun. There is a nice trail leading up to the falls and then when you get to the top there is some fun rock hopping and boulder dashing to get up to the donut part of the falls. I still can't believe Brad is nearly as tall as John!

So fun! Kelsie is also now the official chipmunk whisperer! She had them eating our fruit bars out of her hand. They were so cute with their little cheeks stuffed full. What a perfect day.

Round two....Powell September 2010

We had yet another phenomenal week. Weather could not have been better, BEST beach ever, great exploring, great hikes, good family, good times! We hiked some great slot canyons, some we had to trudge through some pretty gross water but totally worth it! I can't wait to do more exploring next year. We managed to get Eric addicted to Phineus and Freb and of course had to build a sand tribute to them. And following our new tradition ended the week with our 'glow dance party!'
