Shon in home from Afganistan after nearly a year long deployment. He and his darling little family stopped by for a visit and of course with Uncle Shon we are bound to have some type of adventure! He decided that it would be fun to take the kids up to Eastlake to try out his new paddle before they head to the ocean. Well the kids of course had a blast and the weather cooperated for a little while...then kaboom! The wind picked up and blew them across the lake and their little outting became a rescue mission! One of the workers at the lake even stopped to assist in the effort of recovering the boat and children. Another GRAND adventure with Uncle Shon. Thanks big guy!

Sweet!!!! Yeah, I was enjoying that adventure from the car. I still am amazed at how strong the winds were and how quickly the weather changed. Makes for a good memory! Thanks for letting us come and play! (we'll be back soon, especially since we left half our stuff at your house! Thanks again)
