I don't even know what to say about this...while Angie and her family where here this summer we came upstairs and found Jeff and Kai sound asleep like this. Do I even WANT to know what led up to this! These little boys played hard all day and crashed just as hard at night.

Playing a new tune

Many years ago I was given this piano for free. It is from the 1920's and used to be a beauty before it was chopped to make it more modernized in the 40's. It was pretty beat up and had a lot of ware including being dropped out of the back of a moving truck (that is why I got it free). I have wanted to do something to it ever since I first got it home. But what to do? Angie was here to visit this summer and joyfully agreed to help me turn this... In to THIS...
I love how it turned out and all the kids can't wait to get their hands on it!

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

Back to school...We have had a crazy, busy, exciting, people filled summer. I am going to attemp little by little to get cought up on all the little things I find hard to do whilst the kiddos desire attention. Blogging is probably the eaiest thing to catch up. My house on the other hand feels like it is in total disaray, oh maybe thats cuz it is!

Kelsie Turns 12

Kelsie that cute little thing turned 12 a few weeks ago while at girls camp. So once again we celebrated when she got home. She wanted a cake that was a horse pasture...this is what she created...

Sweet 16

Our beautiful Hailie turned 16 while we were at Lake Powell. My FAB sister Angie and her family joined us for three weeks this summer. Her son Carson also had a birthday while at the lake so we celebrated together. Hailie wanted a Tee-Pee cake! Don't ask cuz I don't know either.

Pioneer Trek

Brad, Hailie, Jason and John all headed off on trek the week after school was out. Here are my cute pioneers ready to go. They didn't look quite this nice 5 days later.
