A day at Park City Mountain Resort

My sister Theresa called me and had extra tickets for us to come and party. We had so much fun. Unfortunately John was leaving that day for 'brothers weekend' and we only had a few hours. We could have spent the whole day there!

I love this picture of Johnny and Jeffy. It is so beautiful up there and the weather was perfect. We rode the lift to the top and then jumped on the alpine slides and the Alpine Coaster. Jeff worked really hard a trying to pick up the quarter that was glued to the loading ramp. Thanks Theresa for a great day!

A VeRy Warm Welcome

We would like to Welcome the newest addition to our family...The Red Rock Oasis. Oh Yeeaahhhhh! Lake Powell here we come, AND come and come.....

Trenton turns 9

Trenton had a great birthday party. He decided he wanted to do a 'minute to win it' birthday. So we played some really fun games from the show. Trent got a lot of guns...he was in heaven!
Blake transferring cotton balls with his nose and a little Vaseline.

The onlookers...
Then on his birthday we make cupcakes...his favorite and of course he wanted to light the candles.

Looks like it's going to be a good wish.

Trent's first Pinewood derby

You may be able to tell by the look on his face I had to BeG him to do this...."come on lets work on your car a little .." You know stuff like that! Ya, RIGHT! He could hardly stand that he had to wait a whole week from the time we got his kit till it was time for the race.

He did really well over all and had a great time....8th place is good right? Especially when mom had to do the helping on the car. I was very proud of him for his design and the hard work he did. I love just turning this over to them and letting them do whatever they want. Lets face it that is the fun part for them anyway.

Jeff and his Cactus

Jeffy just couldn't get enough of all the cacti when we were home for a visit! We had to stop at every new kind of cactus and take a picture and talk about what it's name was. Luckily Grandpa was with us and could tell us all about them. Then he (Jeffy) took grandma on a tour of her own back yard and showed her all of her own cactus. The Saguaro
Ocotillo
Hedge hog

Cholla

Barrell

He was one happy camper and is still talking about it today!

Arizona Trip 2010

It has been a long time, four years to be exact since we have taken a trip home to Arizona. It is a long 12 hour drive but every time we reach the desert it just feels like home. I love the smells of the desert and the beauty of the cactus. We just missed the desert in bloom which is AmAzInG but the saguaro's were still in bloom. We had a great time doing all our favorite things to do when we go there. Hiking, Organ stop pizza, Swimming and most of all spending time with my wonderful family. This is Kai, Kamden and Jeffy enjoying the music at Organ stop.
Yes this is one of my all time favorite places I still love it to this day!

My brothers Jeff and Ron, Angie, Mom, Dad, Hailie and John.

We stopped to walk over the dam at Lake Powell and do a little dreaming....
Jeffy couldn't get enough of all the different cactus...that will be a blog of it's own!

On our hike at Usery park. What a beautiful trail and an amazing view of the entire Phoenix valley from the top.

Jeff, Melanie, Angie and Dad.

Almost to the top. This is my kids favorite place to stop and pose for photos!

Heading up the mountain.
Thanks mom and dad for a wonderful trip and all you did to keep us entertained and happy. Also a big thank you to Angie and her family for letting us crash with them.

Rockin' the talent show

So my kids rocked at the talent show and took home 2nd place. They were awarded $50 bucks and a bunch of candy (of course). I am so proud of them for having the courage to do it and all the hard work they put into it! Thank you to John for taking the time and working with them as well. They had some really great choreography to go along with their sweet moves. Congrats kiddos.
